Funtastic Fitness

This week saw the start of a vigourous health kick for the Huay Pakoot crew.
Not content with the 5 mountainous elephant hikes each week plus all the gardening and construction workouts we already have, we’ve now embarked on a fun fuelled exercise program. The jungle joggers meet 3 times a week at 6:30 am and take in the sights of the village as they run gruelling hilly laps of the area, tallying and adding each lap to see how far our team can make it round Thailand.

‘Base hut builders’ workout twice a week for a full body tune-up to an 80’s pop extravaganza. Twice weekly the ‘primitive pilates’ group gets back to nature and uses bamboo to stretch away their aches and pains and relax to the sounds of the forest. With extra ab sessions in between hikes, and yoga on the way, we’ll soon have exercised off all our pot luck dinner gorging and mountains of rice eating.
