Twin Baby Elephants

What could possibly be cuter than a baby elephant?!
....Twin baby elephants!

Here's a short (37 sec) video clip I recently shot in Surin. The mother and her twin babies are staying at the Surin Elephant Hospital, just outside of Surin City.

One of the twins had a minor bladder infection, but that has cleared up now. They will stay at the hospital under supervision for at least a few more months. The owner doesn't want to take any chances.

Twin elephants are extremely rare. I'm told this is just the second recorded birth ever to have happened in Thailand. Both are male, identical twins. The owner has still not confirmed what plans he has for the babies.
